We are currently renewing the inside of our motor yacht NEREIDE. For 2009 we put our backs into it:

- Refurbishing of the bath room
- New Multimedia components including DVD, Flats-Screen, MP3-Radio with connection for your personal MP3-Player
- Homelike charter holiday also in the nights thanks to slatted frames with adjustable degree of hardness in the rear cabin.

bareboat yachtcharter – without license!
If you now ask yourself if you are ready for a house boat trip on the Mecklenburg lake district we are sure that you are. For a couple of years the German government decided that bareboat charter yachts can be navigated also without license. In case you are not a license holder the team of our service partner on site will teach you the theoretical basics and will also go for a small common trip (min. 10min) to make yourself familiar with the motor boat NEREIDE. The whole procedure will take approx. 2-3 hours. We introduced our service partner to go on with training as long as you feel save and comfortable. At the end of the day we want to ensure that you have a relaxing holiday on our yacht charter boat.
land of 1000 lakes – discover and relax
In our lake district around the Müritz, the largest inland lake of Germany, you will find at least 1000 larger and smaller lakes which are connected to each other by rivers and channels. This fact offers you an incredible district for your water sport activities. Our bareboat charter guests can travel either down to Berlin or go in north west direction directly up to Hamburg. The Müritz (112km²) is the heart of that motor yacht paradies. The name Müritz stems from Slavic’s and means “Little Sea”
Together with the lakes of the northern Brandenburg (the state situated southern from Mecklenburg) the lake district of Mecklenburg offers you the largest connected lake district all over Germany and Middle-Europe.
Nearly in the middle of that amazing water paradise you will find Germany’s largest inland lake, which will also be the starting point for bareboat charter holiday. In the southeastern part of the Müritz you will find the home base of our houseboat is in the Marina Claassee which is situated in a small lake next to Müritz which is connected by short channel. Marina Claassee belongs to the village of Rechlin which also offers a supermarket with 7 day service.
With your charter boat you can head your trip either in northern direction going to the so called „Upper lakes“ of Mecklenburg. Furthermore you can then continue your ride via the river Elde passing the small nice city of Plau am See and via the Stör-Channel finaly arriving in the city of Schwering. Schwerin as the capital of state Mecklenburg offers you basically many historical and architectural highlights like the Castle of Schwering which nowadays accommodates the parliament of the state Mecklenburg.
If you decide to head your trip to the start after you started at our home base you will be delighted by the charm of the many small lakes and rivers. Definitely the right choice for all who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. If you are willing to spend some more our per days by riding the boat you continue your journey to Berlin, the capital of Germany. (license required). It´s always an adventure to explore Germany’s capital from the river side.
Finaly the most stunning experience is to take the time (about 3 weeks) an go on a round trip.
From the northern part of Berlin you continue your journey via the Havel Channel to one of the longes rivers in Germany, the Elbe. Going to the north heading to Hamburg you are traveling until you have reached Dömitz,the place where the Elde is emptying into the river Elbe. From here your taking the way back to “Upper lakes” of Mecklenburg by passing many floodgates. Alternatively you can extend our holiday and make a short side-trip to Schwerin.
… Or you just come back once again.
